Shiva 4th Anniversary
Our Achievement
Most of you know what tomorrow is - Shiva is turning 4 years old. This is not only a remarkable age for a private server in itself, but considering the current state of the game, it is an incredibly impressive achievement.
Over 350.000 characters created across nearly 300.000 accounts, with around 6000 players online every day. Nearly 15.000 offline shops, with around 25.000 trades taking place every day and up to 500.000.000.000 Yang changing hands. Very few can boast such an active community with such a strong ingame economy.
Nearly 1800 players have reached the maximum level of 99. The first player, Dowe, is also close to reaching an incredible milestone of 1.000.000 Metin stones farmed.
Mostre and Jumbos are soon to reach 30.000 bosses killed. EV0 has defeated more than 350 Elite Bosses, while Mostre has completed over 10.000 dungeons. What an incredible achievement by the community.
And it doesnt stop there. The numbers continue to be just as insane, with SwindLeR having opened more than 6.000.000 chests. oYup and TealFarm2 are clearly addicted to Missions with almost 160 Mission Books completed each.
Etas has fallen in love with mining with nearly 4.000.000 ores mined, while Buffbakir spends all his time by the lake, having caught more than 80.000 fishes.
FabsNMeisteR has used more than 23.000.000 Switchers, by a huge margin, while LevFarm has nearly farmed 130.000 Gaya. Maradonner is screaming his throat raw with 420.000 messages in the shout chat.
And XxEMBERIONxX is our resident watchman, who feels like hes always around with an incredible 754.000 minutes played.
A very special shoutout to Shivas most loyal players goes to Wien, Uwe/DrachenUwe, Ballantines and MisterSmee. You've been by Shivas side for an unbelievably long time.
Most of you are among the first 100 to 1000 accounts ever created. And you're still actively here today. Thank you for your extreme loyalty.

Events
We deliberately decided against a dedicated event made just for this day, since update progress is currently going really well and we dont want to delay upcoming updates because of it.
Instead, we do rather celebrate this day with the events that have grown old alongside the server, yet remain tried-and-true and beloved. Its been a while since you have had it - the Hero Medal Event will be active from Wednesday through Friday.
With the medals you craft, you will still be able to enjoy it all weekend long. On top of that, we are celebrating the day with Double Metin Loot and Double Boss Loot events, combined with a Dungeon Cooldown event.
For anyone who wants to join the 1800 Level 99 players, we are turning on the biggest EXP event ever. And if oYup and TealFarm2 still want to boost their stats, a Double Mission Book event will be switched on too.
Throughout the entire day, our old-timer event will also be with us - the Gaya Event.
What an action-packed day.

Community Firework
For this special day, we have made fireworks available for you at an NPC. The NPC will be placed right where it all began for each of us - at the starter spawn location on every Map1. There is also a very special Shiva firework to celebrate the anniversary. If you want, you can buy this firework in bulk and stockpile it. We will never remove it. All other fireworks will be removed again later. The Shiva firework will remain as a special souvenir. In the early evening we will reach out to you, and we will all come together as an entire community to throw a party together.
The Surprise
And now comes the part thats most interesting for every high-level player. Its about the Content Update. You have waited a very long time, a veeeeeery long time. The current DevBlog covers the last update you will receive before Content Update 1.0.
This update will be patched onto the live servers in the near future and after that the content update will be finalized, making it the next update.
This means the great myth, Content Update 1.0, is finally becoming real. We are officially getting close now. After the Belt Slot Rework update, all our efforts will go into the content update.
After that, we will keep you updated with announcements and previews on the status of the content update until its released. Of course, it will be announced in a big way so no one can miss it.
Please dont be surprised if things get a bit quieter on the update front soon - thats because we are working on the big content update.
