The Advent calendar

This year, the Advent calendar is returning to Shiva again. Ingame activity is calculated through an algorithm. If a player has played actively enough, they can open a door in their Advent calendar. Activity is determined by playtime, farming Metins and bosses. If you miss a door, you have no chance to open it retroactively.

In your door, there is a random reward from a larger pool of rewards. One of them will be randomly assigned to you.

Important: To open the door, it is mandatory to complete the Frostnite Arena beforehand!

When the system recognizes your activity as achieved, a gift icon will appear at the bottom left corner. Only through this icon can you open the door.

The door on 24.12.2023 will contain an exceptionally good reward. Don't miss it!

Gift Click & Collect

Gifts are scattered across all maps listed. They spawn at 10:00, 16:00 and 20:00 servertime. You can click on them to collect. This way, you gather gifts in your inventory, which can be placed under the Christmas tree on Map1.

Daily Frostnite Arena

You can enter the Frostnite Arena once daily. You will receive the ticket by placing 10 gifts under the Christmas tree or alternatively from Santa in the shop.

The Frostnite Arena always starts with monsters in your level range. There are 3 level ranges: 30-55, 56-80, 81-99. The Frostnite Arena has the following special features:

• Once per day, cooldown reset is at 00:00 servertime.

• There are minibosses that drop additional keys.

• At the end of the dungeon, there are 8 additional loot chests.

• In the dungeon, Winter iron can be dropped, which is needed for Winter stones.

• The arena can only be entered solo.

• At the beginning of the arena, you have to choose one of 4 random mutations. In total, there are 8 different mutations.

• Completing the arena is mandatory to be able to open your Advent calendar door.

This collection is not a Special Rare Item. It is a Special Item that can be obtained by playing the event and can be upgraded from the event version to the regular version. However, the regular version also expires immediately, meaning you have 2 weeks to make it permanent. Keep in mind that the shining effect of the costumes is lost during this process, as it is not compatible with the Shining System of the content update. This approach allows you to keep items from the Winter Event even after the event ends.

Speciality of the Winter Event

We have added the ability to craft a  Winterstone at Lynasia this event.

The Winterstone acts as a magic stone for improving items without the risk of having your item lowered by one level if you fail. 

Since this is a significant advantage when improving items, this item is also correspondingly difficult to achieve.
