After carefully reviewing all matches, we have determined the 10 winners of our very first Soccer World Cup Tournament!

We would like to thank everyone who participated in the event. We put a tremendous amount of effort into making something possible that the game was never really designed to support. Our goal was to create something truly special for you, an experience you wouldnt be able to find anywhere else.

We hope you all had a great time playing it. And of course, a few rages are part of the experience too.

Thank you all for taking part and making the first Soccer World Cup a memorable one!

Guide on how to claim your prize

Create a ticket using the account that contains the character you won with. Name the ticket "World Cup Winner". In the ticket, state your final placement and then follow the instructions provided there to select all of your prizes.

The prize distribution process may take some time, as everything will be handled manually. Please be patient and refrain from asking when your prizes will be processed. We are working through all requests as quickly as possible.

Fun Facts

- 497 players participated in the game mode.

- There were more than 2,000 unique matches in total.

- 302 matches being forfeited in total.

- Among the Top 10, there were only 8 Golden Goal matches in total.

- The most goals were scored by Yulia, with a total of 425 goals.

- The highest win rate was achieved by EatThatDMG, with an impressive 98%.

- The player with the most Golden Goal matches was SilvaZ, with a total of 3 Golden Goals.

- ReDDeaDx3 had the most losses, with 28 losses in total.

- 3 players from the original Top 10 were disqualified.

The disqualifications were thoroughly reviewed. We understand that being disqualified can be very frustrating, but we carefully examined every case and are confident that these final Top 10 rankings are correct. We will not make any further changes or conduct additional reviews. This Top 10 is final. We will not engage in discussions or arguments regarding these decisions. Anyone who continues to challenge or argue against them will face appropriate consequences.

So funktioniert's

Sprecht NPC Larry an und wählt euren Modus. Ihr werdet automatisch mit zufälligen Gegnern gematcht. Im Team-Modus bekommt ihr zusätzlich zufällige Teammitglieder. Keine Vorbereitung nötig, keine Absprache im Voraus. Einfach anmelden und loslegen.

⚔ 1 vs 1, Einzelduell ⚔⚔⚔ 3 vs 3, Team-Match

Ebenso könnt ihr jederzeit den Trainingsplatz betreten und eure Freunde oder Gildenmitglieder herausfordern. Dieser Modus wird in der Rangliste nicht gezählt und bietet die Möglichkeit, eigene Turniere unter Freunden oder in Gilden zu veranstalten.

Spiel-Limits: Pro Tag könnt ihr maximal 5 Spiele im Ranglisten-Modus spielen. Über das gesamte Event sind es maximal 50 Spiele pro Charakter.

Ablauf einer Runde

Eine Runde läuft 10 Minuten. Wer als Erster 10 Tore schießt, hat direkt gewonnen.

Läuft die Zeit ab, gewinnt wer bis dahin mehr Tore hat. Steht es unentschieden, geht's ins Golden Goal. Das nächste Tor entscheidet.

Steuerung: Den Ball schießt ihr, indem ihr einfach dagegen lauft. Für einen weiten, festen Schuss haltet ihr Shift gedrückt.

Gleichstand? Wenn zwei Spieler am Ende dieselbe Punktzahl haben, entscheiden die insgesamt geschossenen Tore, wer weiter oben in der Rangliste steht.

Am Event-Ende zählt eure Gesamtpunktzahl auf der WM-Rangliste. Die Top 10 bekommen abgestufte Belohnungen. Platz 1 holt sich zusätzlich die Shiva WM-Trophäe (Pet-Ei). Nur der Sieger bekommt das Ei, die Chance kommt nicht wieder.

World Cup Tournament

The big tournament of the Shiva Summer Event 2026. Face off against other players in the stadium, rack up points and fight your way onto the World Cup ranking.

How it works

Talk to NPC Larry and pick your mode. You get automatically matched with random opponents. In team mode you also get random teammates. No prep needed, no coordinating in advance. Just sign up and jump in.

⚔ 1 vs 1, solo duel ⚔⚔⚔ 3 vs 3, team match

You can also enter the training ground at any time to challenge friends or guildmates. This mode does not count toward the ranking and is perfect for hosting your own tournaments among friends or guilds.

Match limits: You can play up to 5 ranked matches per day. Across the entire event, the cap is 50 matches per character.

How a round works

A round runs for 10 minutes. The first to score 10 goals wins right away.

If time runs out first, whoever has more goals wins. If it's a tie, it goes to Golden Goal. The next goal decides.

Controls: You shoot the ball by simply running into it. For a longer, harder shot, hold Shift.

Tied score? If two players end with the same points, total goals scored decide who ranks higher.

At the event's end your total score counts on the World Cup ranking. The Top 10 receive tiered rewards. Rank 1 also claims the Shiva World Cup Trophy (Pet Egg). Only the winner gets the egg, and this chance won't come again.

We want to make some changes to the way we work and communicate with you, and we would like to try out this approach here. From now on, we will use the DevBlog to share information about the upcoming update that is directly ahead, rather than discussing plans for the next few months. Over longer periods of time, details and plans can change frequently, which can make early information outdated. We hope you enjoy this new way of communicating and that it provides you with more accurate and relevant updates.

Elite Arena (Lowlevel)

We want to finalize the Elite Arena for low-level players. At the moment, we will most likely limit the boss selection to those whose elemental requirements can realistically be met by low-level characters. This means the pool of available bosses will be slightly smaller to ensure a fair experience. Low-level players should not be expected to build every elemental resistance, as that simply is not feasible at this stage of the game. If we come up with a better solution during development, we may revise this approach.

Changes to the Elite Arena (Highlevel)

For the High-Level Elite Arena, we are considering changing several bosses into a new 3d model. The question is whether this is something the community actually wants, so we will be holding a poll to gather your feedback. In practice, this would simply mean replacing some of the older bosses with new ones. Their race bonuses and elemental attributes would remain unchanged. Only their appearance and 3D models would be updated to provide more visual variety. This would make the bosses in the High-Level Elite Arena look more powerful and intimidating than the standard boss models used in the Low-Level Elite Arena. It would also better reflect the progression between the two, with higher-level content featuring more impressive and imposing bosses. We would only make these changes if the poll shows that this is something the community wants.

Just as a small example; The current Flame Lord could be replaced with a model like this. Its element would remain exactly the same. Only its appearance would change. As a result, you would not need to adjust your equipment.

New Dungeon for Low level

With the introduction of the Low-Level Arena, we would also like to add a new dungeon designed for players around level 55. Since one of the official maps, "Snakefield" is currently not integrated into our concept, we would like to fill this gap with a dedicated dungeon. This dungeon will also take over and represent the theme of the missing map. Additionally, we want to further strengthen the level 55 PvP environment and make this level range more engaging. This dungeon is a perfect opportunity to support that goal.

We can already give you a small spoiler and reveal that this dungeon will require Fire Resistance as well as Strong against Mystics. This means the dungeon will tie into the Esoteric Temple progression, as Crystal Equipment and Jade Shoes will remain useful and relevant for this content.

New Equipment and Pet Egg for Low Level

As mentioned above, the new dungeon will of course come with its own loot. Since this dungeon is designed with PvP players in mind, it will introduce new equipment tailored specifically for the level 55 PvP scene and the Low-Level Elite Arena. One of the most requested additions is finally becoming a reality: a low-level belt similar to the Fighter Belt. In addition, we are planning a new shield as an upgrade to the Black Round Shield, as well as a light variant of the Titan Shield. A new helmet for the level 55 range will also be introduced.

These additions will bring level 55 PvP characters a step closer to their higher-level counterparts, allowing them to further specialize and clearly establish their PvP-focused builds. At the same time, this equipment will provide new progression goals and make tackling the Low-Level Elite Arena bosses more accessible.

As an additional prestige reward, this dungeon will also offer a chance to obtain a new Pet Egg. Similar to the Monkey Pet, this pet can reach a maximum level of 80. This way, not every player will have to rely on the Monkey as their main pet, allowing for more variety and individuality.

A minor balance adjustment

Some time ago, we adjusted the overall PvM balance for all classes. These changes were very well received, but after observing the game for a longer period of time, we identified the need for some further adjustments.

The main focus here is Shamans. At the moment, they deal similar damage in pvm to a Body Warrior while benefiting from a significantly faster attack animation. Based on strong community feedback, we will review this balance and make some targeted adjustments where necessary.

The Bow Ninja also stands out in PvP, so we will take another look at this class as well to determine whether any changes are required.

As a small side note before a war breaks out: We are only talking about minor adjustments and fine-tuning here, not a complete rebalancing of the classes. These are common balance changes that become necessary over time when a clear meta develops and class diversity starts to suffer.
