Now that we’ve launched the new PvM balance update, we’d like to take a transparent look at our statistics together with you. The current class distribution shows the following figures.
We’re curious to see how this will evolve over the coming months and will provide you with an update on this in due course.
In the level 55 statistics, it's clearly visible that most players have chosen the Body Warrior as their main farming character. Interestingly, this dominance decreases slightly in the level 75–85 range, where the Weapon Sura gains some ground. The Dragon Shaman is also nearly on par with the Weapon Sura in this bracket.
For characters above level 90, the distribution needs to be viewed differently, as PvP-focused characters are also included in this segment. Still, it’s clear that the Body Warrior makes up half of all characters in this range. While that’s unfortunate, it’s exactly why we introduced the new balance update. The Body Warrior will always play a major role, that perception is deeply rooted in the player base. However, our goal is to encourage more variety.
What we didn’t expect is that the Weapon Sura would take second place among level 90+ characters, showing a strong presence. However, it's important to note that both the Dragon Shaman and the Healer Shaman share the same PvM balance values, so their numbers should actually be considered together. When doing so, the Weapon Sura still trails behind the Shamans.
