Anti-cheat and reporting suspected abuse on Shiva

Shiva uses CShield as part of its anti-cheat protection. If you encounter behaviour that appears to involve a Metin2 bot, hack or exploit, use support to report what you observed. A useful report gives the team specific evidence to investigate.

Describe the incident precisely

Include the character name, approximate time, location and the behaviour that concerned you. Add screenshots or a recording when they help explain the event. Describe what you actually saw and distinguish it from what you suspect; an unusual result alone may not explain its cause.

Understand the role of protection and review

Anti-cheat software and player reports serve different purposes within the process of detecting and investigating abuse. The presence of CShield does not establish that every suspicious action is automatically detected or that every accusation is correct. Follow the server rules and let support review individual incidents.

Handle client and account problems separately

If a message mentions CShield, include its exact wording and when it appeared in your support request. For another client error, describe the failed step and any screenshot. Use the client distributed through Shiva's download page, keep your credentials private and report account concerns separately.
